Hey Bay-Bay! R Dub Slow Jams San Francisco…

Starting Sunday: Listen to Q102 for Sunday Night Slow Jams

KRBQ – Q102 in San Francisco is just the latest California radio station to add Sunday Night Slow Jams with R Dub! to their on-air lineup, as Benztown continues to close out the state.

Q102 Program Director and Bay Area fixture Billy Vidal said, “Bay Area get ready as we welcome Sunday Slow Jams hosted by R Dub! to Q102. Tune in and let’s make it last forever.”

“The word is out,” said Mark Wilson, VP of Affiliate Relations for Fusion Radio Networks, a Benztown partner. “Slow Jams is landing in every market and the station that has it wins. End of story. We’re wrapping up the region and helping stations deliver unprecedented ratings!”

And Wilson’s words come with merit, as double-digit shares continue to pour in, book after book, for the popular Slow Jams and dedications show.

R Dub!, host and creator of Sunday Night Slow Jams said, “California is ground zero for Sunday Night Slow Jams, and I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. I’m so honored and privileged to work alongside Billy Vidal and Michael Martin at such a dope radio station…we’re gonna make this HUGE!”

This marks a reunion for R Dub! and Martin, who serves as Senior VP of Programming and Head of Music Initiatives at Entercom. The two worked in Los Angeles together when R Dub! was Director of Programming for KHHT (Hot 92.3) and Martin was Director of Programming for the L.A. cluster.

Angela Nevarez, 37, of Daly City said, via Facebook, “OMG! Finally! We always stream Sunday Night Slow Jams and now we can hear it in our own city, on our own station. Thank you Q102!” Nevarez said she’s been a faithful listener since 2010.

Slow Jams connects with listeners unlike any other program I’ve heard.” said Dave “Chachi” Denes, president of Benztown Radio Networks. “Their passion and engagement transcends to incredible ratings.”

Slow Jams with R Dub! debuts on Q102 on Sunday, December 20th. You can listen live and find out more about Q102 HERE.
